  I think this is the last time we are going to give mana kai 'a second chance'. I keep wanting it to be as good as when we first went a couple of years back, but the last 4 times we've been there it's been really disappointing. Today the manager/owner(?) apologised for the long wait for my child's underwhelming kids platter saying that one of her staff members had not shown up. This might have been OK if it hadn't been a long wait and poor service the previous 3 times I've visited.
  I had asked the same lady for a high chair (they're kept behind the counter) and she said she'd get it 'in a second', she forgot as she chatted to someone about detox and exercise while other customers waited to order. When another lady and I waited to order she had been chatting at the counter to someone else about green tea and didn't even acknowledge that we were there for a good minute or two. She seemed much more interested in her nutrition business (or whatever it was she was talking about) than serving customers. I had to ask the barista to get my one in between her making coffees and running them out to customers.
  Sorry but it's just not enjoyable anymore, there is no love in the cafe like there used to be.
